Level Criteria

Designed for those who have had year (about 1,000 study hours) to study Japanese Language, those who are willing to go to college/ graduate school or those who are aiming for the JLPT Level N1.

Designed for those who have had 9 months to 1 year (about 800 study hours) to study Japanese language, those who are willing to go to college or vocational school, or those who are aiming for the JLPT Level N2.

Designed for those who have had 6 months to 9 months (about 600 study hours) to study Japanese language, those who are willing to go to college or vocational school, or those who are aiming for the JLPT Level N3.

Designed for those who have had 3 months to 6 months (about 400 study hours) to study Japanese language or those who are aiming for the JLPT Level N4.

Designed for those who have had 1 month to 3 months (about 200 study hours) to study Japanese language or those who are aiming for the JLPT Level N5.
Test Pass Criteria

In general, At least 60% of the total score and at least 25% correct of each section are required to pass the test.
